Be part of IGLA 2027!

You don’t need to be in the water to experience the championships from the inside. Behind every race, every match and every dive, there is a team of volunteers and officials who make it all happen. Join them!

Taking part in IGLA 2027 means spending a unique week at the heart of an international, inclusive and festive sporting event, meeting people from all over the world and helping make Montréal an unforgettable host city.

Become a volunteer

No specific experience is required: your enthusiasm and team spirit are all you need. Several roles are waiting for you:

• Welcoming and guiding: greet participants and the public, guide them around the venue and answer their questions
• Registration and accreditation: hand out welcome kits to delegations and check access credentials
• Timekeeping: support the technical team on deck to ensure accurate results
• Competition support: help events run smoothly, from the call room to the medal ceremonies
• Logistics: help set up the venues, move equipment and keep supplies stocked
• Food services: prepare and serve meals and snacks for athletes, officials and volunteer teams

Become an official

Are you an official recognized by an aquatic sports federation? Your expertise is invaluable! Accredited officials are invited to bring their skills to the championships and enjoy the competition from the best seat in the house.
